Williams Falade of Team Reflex became an international fitness model after winning a slew of competitions such as the Miami Pro European Championships and Body of Africa 2013

Tell us about your experience so far at the WCE.

It’s slightly different. Usually it’s a bit more personal as it’s just me when I get out here but due to the event there’s other athletes so the atmosphere is slightly buzzing and there’s quite a few celebrity athletes I know.

This is not your first fitness expo. How does the Wawan Classic measure up to other expos?

I usually attend the FIBO expo in Germany. It’s one of the biggest expos in the world. However due to its vastness, it’s broken up to different rooms and you can’t experience everything at once. At WCE, everything is at one venue. You could say it’s like your one stop fit stop.

What’s the craziest thing you’ve ever done in Kuwait?

Waking up and doing a leg session straight away! I’ve never done it in my life. I usually have three or four meals before training. Over here we just woke up and did a strenuous session.

I understand you were a judge on The Model. Tell us about your experience.

It was a great experience. But for me as soon as I saw the winner, I knew he was the one. It was very easy to judge.

You compete under the WBFF. What are your upcoming plans?

I’ll be competing in the World WBFF Championship in Toronto, Canada at the end of August. Hopefully I will be living in Saudi Arabia by the end of July. KSA seems to fit my lifestyle, as I’m disciplined and strict. So my plans are to move to KSA and then bring back the World title to Saudi!

Is there anything you’d like to say to your fans?

I love the Middle East hence why I’m moving here. I love the respect I show them and they show me and it ties in with the traditions of my Nigerian origins.
